Fan Tan, also known as fancy, is an old form of gaming that was popular in ancient China. In the west it's now referred to as" Pai Gow," which literally means" Luck of the Golden Flower." It is an entirely luck-based game, with many similarities to blackjack. There aren't any cards and the outcome of each card game is decided by luck of a draw. There are no special abilities to play. The fundamental rules of Fan Tan are straightforward three piles of 10 cards are dealt from left to right, and finally face up in the shape of a card.
The dealer will draw seven cards from his deck. This is the beginning stage of the game. Then, the twelve players are split into two teams, with each receiving seven cards from the dealer. The cards are handed over face down and the current Fan Tan order is written on the back of each card. The order of the cards is not changed, and each player gets a brand new Fan Tan stacks. The Fan Tan stacks are laid out in the middle with the cards drawn first.
The second phase is identical to the first, but with the exception that the players are given seven additional cards. After this round of cards, they are flipped face down again. The back of each card has the latest Fan Tan order. The standard 52-card deck will contain the cards which were turned over at this point.
The scoring is exactly same as the regular version. The amount of chips that each player has is added together and then added to create the player's final score. The player with the highest number of chips at the end of the game is the winner. The player with the smallest chips at the conclusion wins.
A new rule has been added to the game. A player who has fewer chips than another player will be given a second card. The other player is not permitted to draw more cards until the first player gets a chance to do so. If a player has fewer chips ¬t¸ than the other player, the first player must draw a card prior to the second player has a chance to do so. The number of cards that will be dealt will be decided by the players or they may choose to keep the deck the same.
